Dear Dr. Sullivan

We have compiled some articles that provide an introduction to the sciences of Conscientiology and Projectiology (C&P). We also recommend that you explore the website of the International IInstitute of Projectiology and Conscientiology: http://www.iipc.org/

The possible influences of Conscientiology in the future of human civilization are as innumerable as they are significant.  C&P have the potential to expand and clarify the understanding of ourselves, life, and the universe.  After having a basic understanding and experience of C&P one can envision that the application of personal experiences, information, and skills obtained through these sciences will have a profound effect on individuals, human culture, science, and technology.

The University of Florida is at an excellent position to become an international leader in interdisciplary consciential research– a pioneer of the Consciential Renaissance, whose possible effect should be at least as significant as that of the classical Renaissance.

The American Psychological Association has recently cited Waldo Vieira’s (the founder of Conscientiology) Projections of the Conscienciousness – a Diary of Out-of-Body Experiences (1995) in its recent publication Varieties of Anomalous Experience for its “scientific evidence.”  This demonstrates it stands out from a great many out-of-body experience books.  The APA seems to be attempting to break the automatic rejection of these phenomena in the field of mental health and human sciences.

Conscientiology can be seen as an expanded psychology – a expansion from behavioral science to the direct self-investigation of the intelligence principle some call mind or soul.  It recognizes that the current, materialistic-physicalist, Newtonian-Cartesian paradigm must be amplified so that we no longer have to “cram an elephant (the consciousness) into a matchbox” (the brain and physical dimension).  The two main treatises of Conscientiology and Projectiology are still being translated. Projectiology: An Overview of Experiences of the Consciousness Outside the Human Body will be released in New York on May 2002 during the 3rd International Conference of Projectiology and Conscientiology.

There are countless possible applications of C&P in more conventional fields (especially humanities, natural and social sciences) such as physics, neuroscience/cognitive research, astronomy, mechanical engineering, medicine, history, and sociology.  Breakthroughs in these studies may gradually expand our general understanding of and perspective on the nature of human essence, life, and the universe.

We invite UF researchers to learn and test the observations made by the IIPC, and consider our proposal for the integration of C&P in academic and research programs of the university.  We would like to see UF at the forefront of the Consciential (R)evolution, opening the door for these historical personal, social, scientific and technological changes.
